Milk & Cookies
by Sky

"Nothing like a tall glass of milk & Oreo cookies to top off a hectic day...."

Inside Scoop: I was setting up to shoot a glass of milk & cookies - testing out various glasses when this little sneak horned his way into the scene. I decided to just go with it. Ferrets are a whiz at climbing. As a note, this Boy Genius ferret (Simon) was only allowed a small lick of milk for his 'photo shoot'. Milk can cause digestive woes in ferrets. For the record, he did enjoy his lick and looked a bit like an octopus when I pulled him away.

Ann - you kitty and Simon would probably get along swell. Most ferrets and cats find great 'peace and joy' when together - amazingly enough. :-) I've always loved Maine Coon Cats. They are so beautiful.

And thanks to all who have commented. I appreciate that.

Awwww! He is exceedingly cute! Love the tooth on the side. Fiona Queen of the Universe (my Maine Coon) would enjoy a romp with him I bet. She's an old girl and probably would never catch up with him.

Really cute capture - I wonder why he chose the milk before the cookies; I guess he didn't know how good they are!!

Bottles - thank you so much. A bit OT but Simon is spoiled to pieces. Every morning when he wakes up he has to have breakfast with us. Currently - it's 1/2 a jar of chicken (Gerber baby food recommended by his vet). Next, if he gets real demanding, he might get a raisin. Next...lunch time. No matter if he is sound asleep, when he hears me clattering around in the kitchen, he jerks up and skirts to the kitchen so quickly that he'd do a speed runner proud. I'm certain that one of these days he is going to be running so fast that he's going to catch his fur on fire. :-) When this one goes....it's gonna really hurt.

What a neat shot Sky and Simon is just soooo cute! I like that bowl too, it looks very old.

Oh, what a charming capture! The composition is excellent, as is the light and color, but Simon is simply priceless.
