Four shots combined to get more DOF. Try to see it at original size but standing a couple of feet far from the monitor, perhaps you notice some “tridimensional effect”. And this is because of the extended DOF.

I realize the simplicty of this belies some serious PP to get the exposure and saturation so uniform within and without. Love the reflections on the outside of the vase. Excellent work, a thing of beauty. Lora

BOTTLES: Your method seemed to be more "professional", so I'm going to try it. Thanks for sharing your ideas!!!. Anyway, I tell you that in my experience sometimes a dedicated software could do this task very well and easier. See my other entry "Found!", that is the result of combining 9 shots plus a little manual finish up.

Hi Daniel. First of all, there's certainly nothing wrong with using the cut and paste method and I do agree that using layer masks would also require a certain amount of precision. I just hate having to make selections and tend to avoid doing so when possible :-) And, instead of feathering, I'd probably just use a soft edged brush when painting the mask. One nice thing about Photoshop, there's always more than one way to accomplish a task. Really, I guess it's just a matter of preference. Again, I love your results!

Thank you people for the comments. BOTTLES: I´m interesting in your method of using layer masks, thank you for mention it. When possible, I would like to see your work. Anyway, using layer masks or coping and pasting, I think both of the methods have the same kind of hard task. Because I have to select carefully well focused parts in any shot and select the correct feather "deep", and you have to paint the mask with the same precision having especial atention to the borders of the mask.

Very nice job of processing Daniel, your results are just excellent. I would have used layer masks, instead of the copy and paste idea, but could not have ended up with any better results than you did. Love that green glass and those cool reflections! A great entry for the challenge.
