Wonderful composition Katherine and that golden light is simply beautiful! Very nice entry indeed.

I don't know what is around the bend Katherine. I am just guessing more sun, perhaps less trees. If that is true you stopped at the right spot. Lovely scene, very nice light filtered by the trees and the fog. The view of the road ahead is inviting to find the next sweet spot. Well done.
