Mommy, It's Back! by Mike Drenth

Temagami

After changing some conditions to remove reflections following a large batch of shots, I finally got this one. Not bad, but the fish have retreated (being full of food) and don't give the still cat watching moving fish idea I was going for. Maybe tomorrow. Cat's tired of posing now though, so no more attempts tonight... I hate working with actors that don't understand 'Look a little to your left.'

It would make for a really nice image with the white background, but I'd be afraid I'd lose the effect of the bubble trails being such a whitish color themselves, am I wrong? - Mike

I really like the mood of this shot. I'm no expert on the matter, but I'd put it into Photoshop and replace the background (wall and filter that is) with solid white. It would make it very surreal -- but that's just me!

difficult topic !
like the idea but I'm not patient enough to try such photos ;-))

I can certainly appreciate the difficulty of getting the cat and the fish to cooperate.

I'd welcome any comments to make this better - ie, positions, things that distract from the picture (Maybe those two glass fish in the upper left corner?) Thanks, I'll be trying to get the cats to co-operate more... Mike.
