Lying in Wait

This is one of my cats engaged in her form of "birding". She is at ground level, so actually more hidden than this photo depicts. In case anyone is wondering....unfortunately this tactic proved successful with a few unsuspecting birds. :(

This imminent danger shot is an excellent entry for the challenge Lora. The almost hidden two yellow eyes peeking out of the greenery really make this image. And yes they can be good hunters. Unfortunately they sometimes also like to play with their food.

Really a nice shot Lora! I like the fact that the subject is in perfect focus while the surrounding greenery is slightly blurred. I also like the way the branching comes up from the lower corners of the image, very nice composition. Most of all, I just love that beautiful cat... I want one just like that one!

Lora - this is precious. I love how kitty is peeping through the greenery - with that one eagle-eye visible. Another excellent entry!
