speed of light
by mschf

not a visual pattern per se but rather the idea of
light being generated from a repetitive action.

Wonderful composition - I love the colors and textures, and the blurred motion!

Great composition and colors! Arghh, I did not notice the PP work for the spin until you mentioned it. :-)

What a wonderful composition. Like the blue contrast to the neutral wall as well. And that spinning while really tops it off!

Clever idea Martin and very well done. Neat composition as well!

That's what make it a Challenge, Martin!! You gave me a run for my money with "Challenge 144 - Concrete Jungle" The motion in the wheel is just one of the many patterns in this image!!! Looking forward to more ;-))

Denise, I'm finding your challenge to be a toughie! Apart from entering images that would infringe on what's already been entered, my eyes just can't seem to recognize a patterned scene this week even if it's got "pattern" written all over it ;)... so I'm going for something more conceptual than visual. Argghhh, hope I can manage two more entries before the jig's up!

Thanks for commenting, it's appreciated as always (btw the motion is courtesy photoshop ;))

Martin, you have such amazing ideas!!! A most interesting display of patterns and textures. I really like the wheel of the bicycle in motion.
