Hi everyone, thanks a lot for the nice comments! Konstantin, thanks also for the suggestions, unfortunately there's not much I can do about the placement except to take the shot over again. I tend to often place subjects that lead the eyes away from the direction they're facing, I find a bit of mystery in that, depending on the scene of course. With this one, what I would like to fix is the abrupt end of the cloud as it touches the stem at the left, with blue sky continuing from the other side... something about that cloud/sky formation throws me off, but... it is what it is I guess. Cheers! :)

Martin - beautiful image ! On my opinion, the images like this one is a sense of photography - a technically perfect cuptured moment wonderful in its simplicity.
Do you think it would be better if you cat a bit from the right site, making it more simmetrical ? As the flower is "looking left" it is a bit too much free space on the right site for me.

Martin - Denise said it all. Outstanding in every way. I've always found blue and yellow a dynamite color combination and they work superbly in this beautiful Calendar Shot.
