9th: Glastonbury and the Hawthorn (pano)

Imagine there is a path (there actually is) running up the spine of the hill above the houses. You should be able to make out a small solitary tree located on the lower elevations of the hill. Legend has it that Joseph of Arimethea planted this. It is a hawthorn and each year a sprig is cut and sent to the Queen at Christmas time
