details: I love shooting in natural daylight so shot this on the floor in front of my sliding glass doors. The egg was propped up on a spool of thread to give it an almost floating appearance. White backdrop wasn't actually paper but white foam core board. I shot it with ISO 400 selected to force the auto ISO higher -- in Nightshot mode with an R72 filter and ND4... this helped me get the nice grain I wanted.

Photoshopped for just a bit of cropping, converting to b&w and some sharpening to bring out more of the grain effect.
