This shaft was built during the first warld war. The south site of the mountain belonged to italians, the north - to austrians. The austrians managed some how to bring here the militar goods from walley and used small waggons to bring them from here to the entrechments.
This was really an 'Ultimate destination' - in many senses ... and for many soldiers as well
