Capturing images with a cellphone is a challenge in itself. For this I used the incredibly harsh afternoon sunlight beating through a rooflight onto my dining room floor. Using the exposure compensation on the phone, dialing down a couple of stops, and the hard light now exposing correctly for the highlights, it successfully gives a black background. Turning the model side on I attempted to get some drama with the lighting.
