Washingtonscape
by Helen Betts

Washington, D.C.

Well, I know this is pretty wide and far off in the distance, but I chose it over closer in, more limited, shots because it includes pretty much every important feature in Washington (that can be seen from here: (from left) the Lincoln Memorial, the Old Post Office, the Washington Monument, the Smithsonian Institution, the US Capitol, the Library of Congress and the Jefferson Memorial. Taken from Arlington National Cemetery, with tombstones in the foreground. And I liked the sky better in this one as well ;-).

Beautiful view of the city, and I love the cloudy sky, too!
