It's nice to be in the company of such talented fireworks photographers. My wife, our dog Flocke, and I were at Mammoth on the Fourth and viewed the displays above nearby Crowley Lake. Using a small tripod set on the roof of our car containing my companions, part of this challenge was getting a steady shot when Flocke wasn't trembling too hard from fear of the explosions.
