1st: Unusual Perspective
by Denise

Golden Gate Bridge, San Francisco

It was a beautiful day to walk across the Golden Gate Bridge.
At this point, we were less than halfway across the bridge.

I love the perspective on this one, Denise. Sharpness and color are great, too. Very nice capture and great fit for the challege.

The depth is very well expressed. Very good take on the theme.

Thanks, Colleen. No I wasn't tethered!! We had just passed the first tower and there was a viewing area that jutted out. This was the first time in 26 years we had made it this far. The wind is usually so strong you feel like you are going to be blown off the bridge! Thanks again for the comments.

This view is dramatic and exciting. Clean lines going up and others stretching across. It seems you have an interesting perch - were you somehow tethered to the side to get this off-the-bridge shot?
