Thanks, Tyler, Kathy and Dale. This is the only building for miles along similarly barren countryside on the south central avalon peninsula in Newfoundland. These barrens also go back miles and miles before encountering a treeline. This is caribou country, so I expect this was a hunting cabin - apparently not used for quite a few years. The WA conversion lens on my V1 helped capture the feeling of the small cabin in the vast emptiness of this area.

You always seem to find a way to capture the appealing shot, Jerry. Love your work and like the simplicity and beauty of this image. Dale

Jerry, what a excellent capture! This seems to be a long way from anywhere! Vast space. Well done.

Wow, this really communicates the big sky feeling of the prairies. I think the small pond adds a nice touch. Is this little building just sitting there by itself? Or is there more nearby?
