Well, you know the R3x is really a major upgrade to the R3. The step from 16 to 22 bit really boosts the dynamic range another big time. Ok, speed is still an issue and it will not do more than 5 shots / second continous shooting. Also the ISO 6400 is very much useable but to bad that ISO 25000 is only available in 12MP instead of the full 24MP. And then it also shows too much of NR with some watercolor effect. You also should not underestimate that the piece is not easy to handle. F2.0-2.8 for the 10x zoom (20-200mm) is quite a beast, but the handle on the lens is convinient to carry the 4kg toy ...

This reminds me strongly of a buddy's neighborhood from when I was a wee lad! Can't believe how familiar it looks! Good catch, Mr. Bolz... btw how's that R3x performing for you so far? ;)
