My guess is that the person who took this photo also took the other "period" photos (ie. The Innkeeper and Big Wheel). In any case, all are very well done portraits of people at an unusual type of work. I hope when the time comes to reveal our identities, the artist will also share a bit about who these folks are and where these photos were taken (and if I'm wrong...at least where THIS photo was taken). ~nee
The picture was taken at 1/3 sec without a tripod. The head it not out of focus, but there is a small amount of motion blur.

Wonderful composition, interesting detail, and visually active. However, on my computer the face does not look as sharp as the background. The face is the focal point and should be in focus. Is it possible that the laser focusing is off center on the Sony, or maybe it is just the compression for the web.
