Stormy Falls*
by Denise

Niagara Falls, Canada

The weather went from cloudy to rain, sleet, snow and every once in a while a hint of light on the water.
We were out taking photos for 3 1/2 hours. Talk about Challenged!!!
Post processed on my laptop. What does it really look like??? I have no idea.

Powerful shot, Denise. I like the colors captured but also that spray going on on the diagonal. Helen

Thanks Everyone ;-)) Wish you could hear the sound!!! I, too, was surprised by the green color of the water. It changed by the hour and sometimes was a yucky yellow/green color. The falls are powerful but I was safe behind a stone wall! The spray from the mist made shooting at this location a bit tricky for sure.

Nice shot Denise! I really like that green water, it almost looks like it's lit from underneath! Great entry for this challenge.

I can hear them! Love the lighting and the color of the water and looming clouds.

Wonderful capture - I love the water color, the clouds, and the close-up perspective!

Its marvelous, Denise. I did not expect the green water. It looks like you are ready to fall over the cliff with the water next . You're very dedicated to get this close to mortal danger.

Wow you sure captured all the grandeur of the falls here in the brooding blue of the sky complementing the glass green water& that spume kissing the falls. I first came to this place when I was 8 years old. It left quite an impression needless to say.
