Actually, Katherine, I think the memorial is an almost unmitigated disaster from a design pov. The whole thing could usefully go through the ps tunnel....maybe then it would do justice to the vets and the event 's historical significance. John

Thanks for the information, Fremiet :-) I really like the results of all that photoshop work!

Thanks Frank Katherine and Helen. OK, 'fess up John....there IS some ps here. The lines were not created, however. The original was the top half of the piece taken at an angle.....I'll place it in the demo folder today. I flipped and reversed it to give the reflected form and simply added ripple on a gradient to the bottom half. That's it. I think it's confusing because of the original angle being off horizontal, practically speaking that's impossible to reflect in water in a single pic...if you see what I mean.

Very nice composition - I love the lighting, angles, and swirly reflections! I can't figure from what angle you shot this and how much is photoshopped. I agree with Frank that you must have added the angle on the right, and maybe the reflections were also made in photoshop.

Very intriguing image! I have been wondering for a while where the dark line on the right that builds the triangle comes from. Finally I think you have enhanced/added this to complement the small triangle on the left.

Simply beautiful, John. Great perspective and color/light. Is this into the pool? I've been there but guess I'll have to go back for another look :-). Helen
