This is a shot looking down on lots of resistors I keep in a black plastic box.
The only thing they're resisting at the moment is a bit of tidiness :-)

Hard to believe a pile of carbon comp and carbon film resistors would make such an interesting and complex photo, but it surely does.

Thanks jp, William, and Katherine for your much appreciated comments! Katherine, the resistors are some of the leftovers from my electronic hobby days. When I was active in that hobby the resistors were all kept in separate drawers, organized according to their value. Now, they're all in one box, nice and neat as you can see :-)
