The Four Sisters
by Jerry Curtis

A new day dawns on these four houses, built in the late 1800s by Samuel Garrett -
the builder of Cabot Tower - as wedding gifts for his four daughters; hence the name "The Four Sisters".
(A nice beginning for their married lives, don't you think?)

What a nice story to go along with this image. I really like the warm tones and lighting Jerry.

Interesting story. Reminds me of the Bronte parsonage for some reason. Maybe for that reason there's a strange romanticsm to this for me. John

That's an interesting story, a very generous gift...and a nice photo, Jerry. I really like the repeating elements and diagonal composition here . Nice lighting and sense of texture here too. Well taken. MFC

Nice story & lovely capture, Jerry.
I wonder if there was an advantage to getting the uphill house vs. the lowest one. ;-)
I'll have to check that link.
