an apple a day...

We were making applesauce when I noticed the shadow cast
by the light through the window.
For the shot, I slipped a white foamcore board under the apple
and the background receded into darkness.

Bev, I really don't think this apple could look any more realistic...it seems like I could just reach out and touch it. Your simple composition and use of white foam board is very effective...it draws maximum attention to your main subject and its shadow. Beautiful color, clarity, and lighting here...great sense of smooth texture. Very well captured, Bev. MFC
