Coat of Many Colors
by Carmen

A little cracked corn on the snow works wonders to lure hungry squirrels, finches, jays, cardinals,
and every so often...something unexpected and wonderful.
He has such a beautiful, festive "coat" - more colors up close than I ever imagined.

Great capture, Carmen...& such a beautiful bird. The colors and patterning of the feathers certainly are wonderful to behold. Nice perspective and lighting here too. MFC

Very nice composition, and such a beautiful pheasant - I also didn't know they were so colorful! The white snow is a great background to show off the pretty colored feathers.
