Nice shot Ed; a good idea with great composition. I like the candle flame, I think it adds a lot to the image. * I don't know what kind of editing software you're using but if you could blur or darken the background a little it might be an improvement. The background adds nothing to the image and might even be a slight distraction to some viewers (it also seems to contain some digital noise). If you darken the background, you might want to lighten the chair a little to make sure the edges still show (maybe a little light from the candle). Nice shot in any case and good entry for this challenge.
Very nice image of the holiday season! I like the candlelight, the colors, and the way the cute bear seems to be the master of the house, sitting in his favorite chair.
