First Adjustment

The only thing done here in PS was to bring the "levels" sliders on each end
to a point where they begin to encounter a rise in the histogram.

This is a nice adjustment...it retains some of the blue sky to avoid a blown out appearance, yet brightens the bird very nicely. I like the subtle enhancement here - I may consider putting a slightly brightened version replacing the one in the challenge. Thanks for the work and the suggestion.
