The original photo was taken with my "back-up" camera as I was working at the computer late last night. One of our cats came and sat with his back to me. I grabbed the closest camera, made a noise, and shot the picture just as he looked up. The effect was created by increasing the contrast, then using a special effects option in my photo editing program to alter most of the areas in this image to white.
