Thanks Martin and Katherine, for the kind comments. Nothing like waiting until the last moment to do something, LOL. Martin, I didn't take this with the title in mind; I was leaving the Capitol after finally finding Mr. Smith and turned around for a final look, and there was the flower lined up right next to the dome. I couldn't resist one last shot but forgot about it until just now. Helen

Nice shot - I love the colors and bright light on the flower, and the deep blue of the sky, and I really like the slightly blurred capitol in the background!

Very interesting composition, Helen, as well as the choice of title! Was this shot taken with this statement in mind? Love how the reds turned out btw!
