Splendid shot, John! One of your best ever. I love everything about it.

Lovely matching of the picture to the title - whatever background you choose to go with!

Yes! I really like this image John, especially this last version. Simply gorgeous!

I agree with Bottles. I like a suggestion of a lighter sky, but not too much. Version 3 should be up soon, with Martin's help and version 2 is in the Demo Folder:http://www.pbase.com/stfchallenge/image/68356013

John, basically I do like the results of your editing. The one thing I'm wondering about is the lighter sky area in this second version. Personally, I think I liked the darker sky better. To me, seeing more of the sky area doesn't really add anything to the image, and in fact may even distract slightly from the real subject matter. How about combining the two images so as to use this second version but with the sky from the first version? Of course that's just my opinion, others may like the lighter sky :-)

This is a new version of the Teahouse. Maybe there no real reason to tweak it because the first version received so many positive comments:http://www.pbase.com/stfchallenge/image/68336080
I actually did nothing to the first version except run it through Lightroom to convert the RAW image to jpg. This one has been sharpened, has more contrast and I tweaked the colours a bit.

I agree with Denise, the plants in the foreground make this one special. Simply beautiful and excellent title choice.

Wonderfully exposed night shot, absolutely perfect title! John, you need to display your teahouse shots in its own gallery sometime!!
