White Castle is the oldest hamburger fast food restaurant chain in America (founded in 1921). It is known for square burgers, commonly referred to as "sliders" which were priced at 5 cents until the 1940s, and remained at ten cents for years thereafter.

White Castle was in Malaysia during my primary school time, but just for a couple of years. I did remember ate one of those square burgers. There was a movie made with WC as main character : Harold & Kumar Goes To White Castle (2004)... a very funny movie.
