I reallly like this composition, especially the DOF, with the blurred gears in the back!

Well, I don't know what this is but it sure does look old! I like the lighting here and your shallow DOF helps to focus the viewer's attention on the main subject, the gears. I think the B&W was definitely a good choice. Nice shot and another good entry Cynthiana!
