16-JUL-2006 inframan

was what?
by inframan

I bought this years ago for a buck at a junk emporium in Oakland, Calif. because I liked the way it looked.
I still do.
Looks kind of anthropomorphic.

Whatever it is, it is certainly 'something old'...very good job translating the theme!

Thanks bottles. The fly? He poses for me when I need to add a sense of scale.

Yeah, I think I would have bought it too inframan; if nothing else, it would make a good doorstop. Just wondering, did the fly come with it for a buck? :-) I like the image, I find it interesting and your focus is just perfect. I have no idea what this thing is but it sure came in handy for this "Something Old" challenge. Nice shot and very good entry!
