Poorly exposed image, noisy and all, I still liked the very traditional camel driver set against the ultra-modern skyline of Dubai.

I guess you did a good job with processing, because it doesn't look noisy or poorly exposed. I like the smoggy look of the city in the background contrasted with the slow moving camel driver who seems unaffected by modern city life.

Thank you for the comment, Ransom. I wish I could show you the original (which was awful, IMO) but can't as my own computer is on its way out of Turkey to the States. But the sky was an ugly brownish, noisy looking color and the driver was totally dark. I did what I could with my very limited PS skills, and if I remember correctly, I couldn't seem to bring out the shadows on him any further without totally messing up the sky. I managed to eliminate some of the haze with a 20/60/0 USM. I think the final result is better but not optimal, but I do love the traditional/modern contrast so kept it in my gallery. Helen

Nice Image! Perhaps the shadows could have been brougt out a bit.; But don't confuse 'Haze' with 'noise'!.. great shot!!
