This was sort of a tough topic for me since my words are my tools. I'm chief copy editor for a daily newspaper in Turkey so spend most of my time correcting other people's writing, but I also write for the paper when I have time, which lately hasn't been much. This is a collection of some of my articles over the past 10 years, somewhat chronologically arranged. I guess you could also say my photos are my tools since I normally use my own pictures for my articles, plus the paper often publishes my work with other articles and in supplements as well.

Thanks so much for the comments! I have so many old papers with my articles in them, I couldn't fit them all in the picture so tried to go for the more colorful ones (and some really yellowed papers LOL). Even after all these years, I still love to see my byline on an article or my name in the photo credit, just wish I had more time to write like I used to. And yes, Tabrizi, I love seeing my photos in print, regardless of whose article they are accompanying. The layout guy just told me they were using one of my pictures on the cover of our upcoming tourism supplement -- a glossy magazine -- and I was so excited I could hardly believe it :-). Helen

Nice composition - I love the arrangement of the papers, also, the photos really look great!

Helen. You put the most appropriate title for your job. Thanx you too for the insight on your work life. I guess you must be very proud when your own photos been published in 'your own' paper... Cheers...

I love how we are getting a glimpse of everyone's life through this challenge. I like the arrangement of the papers, very creative. The picture is so sharp, I was trying to read the articles!
