Thanks, Franky. I like the new crop better, too. There was something I didn't like about the first one and couldn't put my finger on it at first. Thanks for the prod.

Jerry, I the alternative version works much better and you have anticipated what I was looking for, without beeing able to tell. The reason for this I believe is because the middle axis of the slide is now centered. This seems to be important to have a center as elsewise the sand domiates too much. Yup, IMHO you should ge for the new crop.

Very interesting shot. As Helen stated before, the sand is really catching the view.
Currently to my eyes the slide looks a little blurry, compared to the structure of the sand, even though it is in focus. I have the feeling that for me the picture would work a little better with a different cropping. But I do not really know how yet. Maybe a square taken from the right edge. Hmh, I need to revisited a few times til I find out ...
