Not much to add! It's brilliant!

One more comment from me before it slips away...
I would like to compliment the photographer of this shot for the elegance & economy of her/his visual vocabulary.

OK, there are lighter colored "smudges" near the middle left edge. They are smaller than the fish and look kind of like fingerprints. They're faint and don't take much away from the photo, which I like A Lot.

I'm in complete agreement with the comments below! Super composition... A very nice 'catch'! (btw JP I do see one bright pixel at lower-left, but that's a totally minor observation)

Correction: Sandy Skoglund, not Sally.

This is a terrific photgraph in every way. Don't know if the title is a deliberate reference to Sally Skoglund's Radioactive Cats (which I had on my wall for years) but it sure fits.
Bravo! I'm envious!!
(PS... no spots showing on my laptop monitor.)

I really like the depth and the composition of this, as well as the unusual color!
( there are some distracting spots near the left edge that could be blurred or cloned out)
