The Royal Mile is one of the most popular tourist attractions of Edinburgh. It is lined with antique shops, Scottish pubs, and trendy cafes.
This photograph is not of the Royal Mile.
This is a courtyard just a few steps off from it, on the Canongate stretch. It features the backs of some of the gothic houses which have stood on that road for many years, as well as a traffic cone.
Post-processed to create the sepia-toned effect.
