This device is an emergency call system installed in a pedestrian underpass that connects two parts of a park. In the age of cell phones all those systems are not operational any longer I believe.

Why is this my favourite? I cannot really tell! I had been passing this for so many times, but only once I got my first digital camera (October 06) I stopped. Lately I took a serie of all 7 systems that are around in the park, but this is the initial picture. The b/w enhances the rotten condition and the old look. I am courious whether anybody shares my passion. :-)
