Last but not least a photo I took recently on Fir Island in Skagit County, WA. One thing about living in the Northwest is that the weather is never dull as this picture shows. Sometimes the weather gets me down but usually I love it here.

The weather (not the mountains) reminds me of being home in Cornwall. I remember once being on a hill on our farm and watching a wall of sea mist heading toward me. As it did so, the sun was shining on my back and I was warm. Once the mist enveloped me I felt a chill run through every cell.....a chill both psychic and thermal.

This is a wonderful piece, gotta come up there sometime. John
