Due to popular demand, here is the "framing procedure":
1. Open your image in Photoshop
2. Go to Layer/New/Create from background (this will create Layer 0)
3. Go to Image/Canvas size... (watch for background color to be white)
4. Increase the dimensions of the photo with about 100 pixels W and L
5. Select Layer 0 (the one with the image)
6. Go to layer/layer Style/Drop shadow...
7. Play with the controls until it looks the way you want
8. In the pop-up, under Styles, select "Bewel and Emboss"
9. Done!
Thank you all for your interest in my pictures and the kind words. E-mail me after the challenge is done and I'll post an action script for you that will automatically frame your pictures.

ditto - beautiful shot! (and I too would love to know how you created this frame effect :))
Oh Wow! What a beautiful shot of a gorgeous/handsome dog! How do you do the floating effect with the image over the matte? It really enhances the image. Not to mention the curved edges of the photo itself.
