Nature's Ornament

by Ann Chaikin

I blew some bubbles and let them fall on the frosty grass. Then I waited as they froze. Then I took pictures.

What a creatve idea! It turned out really well -- I love the contrast between the natural greenery and the manmade bubble. Great work! Helen

Ann, this is one of the most original ideas I've ever seen. I don't care who did it first. You executed it beautifully!---Deb

Thank you all for your comments. I have my brother to thank for this idea and he has his ex-wife to thank as she was the first to try it. It has to be at or below freezing for this to work. I was lucky that the sun was illuminating this spot but hadn't warmed it enough to keep this from working. Can't wait to see the bubbles you all freeze. ;-) Ann

This is just amazing, Ann. Never seen anything like this. So delicate and pretty! Whatever possessed you to try this?

Hmmm.... I forget what exactly it was that I said, other than along the lines - an original idea and well executed! :)
