I replaced the image with one with a drop shadow frame. Is this one better?

Gold on Gold says it all. Well done, Katherine!
I read that you used graham crackers to "encourage" Bentley to pose. My dog will do almost anything for a generic dog biscuit. He might attack me for a graham cracker!

Katherine - this is such a great shot - and I agree it is much better without the vignetting. I don't know how you did it - my labradours are complete spazoids - I can never get good shots of them. Nice job.

I do like this one better, Katherine. This way I can concentrate on your beautiful dog set in that spectacular leafy border! Helen

Very nice Katherine. I would reduce the vignetting just a tad but otherwise this is just wonderful ~ gaurav

Thanks for the comments - I like the vignetting, but I'll try the image without it and maybe I'll replace this one :)

Katherine--I agree with Helen. Your beautiful golden retriever does not need a thing except his leaves and beautiful golden glow. This image is gorgeous and very creative with the golden leaves around the dog. shu

Oh, what a beautiful portrait, Katherine (and a beautiful dog)! I really like the way you have him/her framed in golden leaves -- a wonderful natural frame and a clever idea. (If you don't mind my saying so, I don't think you need that "haze" effect around the edges -- the dog and leaves are striking enough on their own, but then, I always seem to like images to be very straightforward :-)) Helen
