Psyche

A 19th century life-sized marble sculpture depicting "Psyche", a maiden forced
to undergo many labors because of Venus' jealosy of her beauty...until later
when she was reunited with Cupid and immortalized by Jupiter.

Thanks, Ro and Deb. I wasn't allowed to use a tripod...so I "reclined" on the floor and used my camera bag to help prop/support the camera while I took the pic. MFC

The delicacy and yet clarity of this are very attractive. Can't stop looking at it. Did you use a tripod? Those creamy, curvy whites against the darker graphite diagonals of the architecture really works for me. Good one! - Ro

Nice capture! The sharpness of the image actually brings out the softness of the sculpture.
