Taken in a small village that we stayed in in Cappadocia. These boys are posing with a Kangal, an Anatolian sheepdog. Some people keep them as pets, but this one is a working dog as he is wearing a collar studded with very long, sharp spikes that are used to protect their necks from wolf attacks.
