Nice composition - I love the lighting and her thoughtful expression!

This is wonderful! Very open to interpretation. Is she bored? Is she waiting up for a filandering spouse? Or dreading a call from the hospital? Or thinking about next month's bills? Or missing someone she loves? Excellent composition. I, too, like the all B/W best. Good job.

Stephane,
I like the B&W best too. The lighting, mood and expression are excellent!

Oops - sorry - meant a tad rotation, not a toad rotation - lol. :) ~gk

Stephane. Glad you still have your 717. I love the atmosphere that the low key creates, the light is very well managed and I also like her expression. Personally I do not find the colour reflection distracting. I would also like to see how works a vs with the face in colour and rest in B & W. Jesus

Nice one Stephane; the lighting is just outstanding! I do however agree with Gaurav about the color. To me, the color tends to draw too much attention away from the main subject...just a matter of preference I'm sure. In any case, it's a beautiful shot and just right for this challenge.

hi Stephane - I really like the idea, thoughtfulness and simplicity of this picture. Which one of us has not waited at a window at some point. * I am not sure about the color reflection - i'm not sure it works for me. I'd also like to see just a toad rotation to make the bars run parallel to the left side of the frame. ~gk

Very moody! I like the lighting and B&W on her face, with the color reflection in the window. Very nice capture. Helen
