Again, i am not sure whether the topic is "wood" in this image, maybe more like "paint".
It is more about the beauty of negelected paintwork than it is about the beauty of wood.
but anyway....

Willem, I really like the sense of weathered texture here. Beautiful toning and effectively lit...great clarity. Nice choice of crop too. MFC

Willem, I find the detail of the chipping and peeling paint quite interesting. What I like most is the conversion to B&W.---Deb
