Carlos, this is fantastic ! You nailed the head and beak perfectly, with just enough blur in the wings and tail feathers to give a sense of frozen motion. -john(ebones)

Beautiful capture, Carlos. Wonderful detail in the head and body...I especially like how those tiny feet are silhouetted against the colors/patterning of the tail feathers. Nice color and DOF in the background too...makes a great canvas to paint this bird on. Neat how her interest in you was as much as yours in her. Nice remembrance of a special encounter...nice shot.
