Helen, this IS the same fly as from my Eligible image. I am sorry to report it met an undignified end. I was working on yet another fly image, (an idea from gk's comment), stepped away for just a moment or two, and returned to find that one of my cats had mistaken it for a snack!---Deb

Where do you come up with these things, Deb? Wonderful idea and capture, and great title. Is this the same fly as in your baseball picture? I was relieved to know he had been mercifully despatched :-). Helen

Deb, this is really clever and funny. I like the simple composition...and the catch of reflected light on the "shadow side" of the handle. I also like how the "woody" tones of the handle coordinate with the golden coloring in the fly. Good idea...effective set-up. MFC
