On India's Independence Day (August 15th, 2004, so this pic is from a year ago), most kids and many adults fly kites throughout the day and have kite matches which results in many kites being cut off from their strings. Kids on the street have a field day looking for these kites and playing with them. Came across this little girl who had managed to find an abandoned kite with the colours of the Indian flag (Saffron, Green and White) and was playing with it, trying to make it fly.
