Hi guys - the wasp is actually standing on my windshield but the poor guy was must have either hit the car at some point or hit something else and landed on the car. The wing was bent out of its normal position (hence the appearance of frozen action) and I dont think it could fly anymore, hence the title. ~gk

Gaurav, I like how you captured a clear view of the underside of this wasp. I like the translucency and detail of the wing...and the color/DOF in the background. I can't decide if your shutter speed is responsible for capturing a stop-action shot in the air...or if this fellow in standing on a piece of glass. Either way, nice capture. MFC
