Norwegian silver. Just love the patterns and shapes on the silverware. Spent ages polishing about 100 pieces of silver so I threw in my medals!

Thanks, Nee! I was thinking of doing just that but work has been crazy lately and the past few days getting to pbase has been iffy. I am plotting a shoot for my fave spoon.

Stephen, why not take photos of just the ones that are your favorites by themselves? They are all so lovely, but they tend to get a bit lost in this photo. Getting much closer to your subject so it fills almost the entire frame would also help...(and keeping the background simpler is also effective...just the white placemat alone without showing any of the table would make for a stronger background). With silver this lovely, we want to see those beautifully intricate details! I hope you will give it another try... You certainly have the right stuff to get some great photos! ~Nee
